Daniel Chimwala | March 11, 1998 – June 22, 2023

Last week we received the sad news that Daniel Chimwala passed away unexpectedly. One Hope Malawi supported Daniel with a study fund. He studied Public Health Care and was writing his final exams. Daniel was an example to many young people from Phulanya. He was one of the few who was able to continue his studies. He was also very involved in the development of Phulanya. For example, he helped building the nursery school.

The funeral took place last Saturday in the presence of his family, friends and more than 100 students from his study. All of them came to Phulanya! One Hope Malawi was able to support the family in organizing the funeral. In the coming period we will continue to support the family with pastoral help. Daniel turned 25 years old. Everyone will miss him very much.
