Een brug voor Namagawa

The construction of the bridge in Namagawa is in full swing! Namagawa is often cut off from the outside world for long periods during the rainy season because the river overflows its banks. The road network in the village is poor and there are no good water passages. Building a bridge will ensure that Namagawa remains accessible during the rainy season in the future.

The local community is very much involved. The project provides many jobs for the local population, as we mainly work manually. These jobs provide income and food for many families in Phulanya in these times of hunger.
